Cetaphil Skin Care Products

A few weeks ago, I was asked to review Cetaphil's skin care products, which included a travel size version of the Gentle Skin Cleanser, Moisturizing Cream and UV Defense SPF 50.

Travel-size Cetaphil skin care products

It took me a while to make the switch from my usual skin care products to Cetaphil but I have to say that once I started using it, I kinda liked it.

For one, my skin felt really soft and smooth after washing it with the Gentle Skin Cleanser and let me tell you, not all cleansers are suitable for my acne-prone skin!

On the other hand, I'm not sure if the Moisturizing Cream is suitable for people with oily skin as the label on the container plainly states that it is "For dry, sensitive skin".

So I googled it to be sure and most people who reviewed it said that it was suitable for oily skin as well, so I went ahead and tried it. It turned out to be not bad at all and my face felt really smooth and hydrated rather than sticky.

I know what some of you might be thinking: "But people with oily skin don't need moisturizers, right?" Wrong! That is totally a myth!

We all need moisturizers ('cos our skin 'leaks' water throughout the day), but it's just that people with oily skin need to buy one that is water-based and not oil-based.

Finally, as I never leave home without sun protection on my face (and neither should you!), I tried out the UV defense SPF 50 (which is really more than enough protection from the sun 'cos anything higher does not show much of a difference).

The great thing about this is that it is non-comedogenic and non-greasy, which is perfect for acne-prone or oily skin like mine!

The only bad thing I have to say about Cetaphil's products is that I wished the containers that they came in were much bigger than travel size! *laughs*

Cetaphil is currently having having roadshows island-wide where their bundle packs can be purchased for a discounted price and customers can also try their luck at the cash-grab machine!

And here comes the good part..
