Manila II Day 4-5: Eating, Massage & Flight Home

DAY 4

After two breakfasts at the Horizon Club Lounge, we decided to check out the Circles Restaurant at Level 1.

Horizon Club guests have the option to dine at the Horizon Club or Circles restaurant
Clockwise from top left: Table full of cereal, various meat, ham and cheese and sushi
Pastries and bread
Freshly prepared waffles and other pastries (of course not as good as the Club!)
Circles Gelato
Yummy!

There was a lot more variety at the buffet which appealed to my Mum-in-law and son. It was good but of course I preferred the quality of food at the Horizon Club 🤭

Our final full day was spent relaxing and shopping! The best kind of day for most people except me (mine is at Disneyland) 😄

Swimming again after breakfast because the weather was great!
Lunch at Modern Shang
Roast pork
Soup, noodles and fish
Mango sago dessert, dim sum and vegetables

After lunch, the Eldest and I went for massages at Salt & Stone Wellness Spa.

The spa was located opposite the restaurant
Massages were reasonably priced and the room was comfortable

I had the 90-minute Salt and Stone Signature Massage at ₱1850 (approximately S$39). It was more expensive than Batam but definitely cheaper than JB.

After our relaxing and enjoyable massages, we headed back to the club for our final evening canapes for this trip!

We are a little of everything since it was our last! 😄
Yummy bites
Dessert!

We were so full that we had to walk off our meal with some final shopping at the nearby malls! We shopped until closing and returned to our hotel.

The malls were closing hence it was deserted!

Can't believe that it was our last night and it was time for us to go home! 😅

DAY 5

We checked out of our hotel after we had breakfast at the Horizon Club Lounge.

One final breakfast for this trip!
Clockwise from left: Croque monsieur with scrambled eggs;
Classic buttermilk pancake;
Ube (purple yam) pancake.
My favourite kind of breakfast 😋
Philippines have the best mangoes!! So good!!

We checked out after breakfast and hailed a Grab (₱225) to Ninoy Aquino International Airport to catch our flight home.

Bought a snack for the flight
View of the airport from our plane, which departed at 1.05pm
Complimentary gifts for the kids
Kids meal
I chose a fruit platter for myself because I didn't want to eat a full meal after a heavy breakfast at Shangri-La

The flight was about 3.5 hours and we arrived in Singapore at 4.50pm.

Our favourite sight!

It's great to be home!
